Fleet buyback

Fleet renewal, downsizing, electrification or contract expiry: we take on entire fleets with a single consolidated offer.

Why a fleet is not fifteen separate cars

Disposing of fifteen vehicles is not the same as selling one car fifteen times. Fleet vehicles are usually homogeneous, which saturates local demand quickly if they are listed one by one. They often become available on the same date, under pressure from a lease end or a car-park handover.

On top of that come internal requirements: a defensible valuation for the accounts, traceability of asset disposals, and clean handling of fuel cards, toll tags and the personal data held in connected systems.

Our approach is to treat the batch as a whole: one on-site appraisal, one consolidated offer, one collection schedule and one documentation pack.

How a fleet disposal runs

  1. 1

    Scoping

You send the inventory: models, years, mileages, registrations, declared condition and availability dates.

  2. 2

    Pre-appraisal

We produce an overall range within 48 working hours, clearly identifying any excluded lines.

  3. 3

    On-site inspection

One or two inspectors assess the whole fleet in a single visit, with a photographic record per vehicle.

  4. 4

    Firm consolidated offer

A single document sets out the amount per vehicle and the total, with an explicit validity period.

  5. 5

    Scheduled collection

Grouped collection on your timetable, including in successive waves where needed.

  6. 6

    Documentation

Invoices, transfer certificates, proof of deregistration and an accounting summary sent to your finance team.

Fleet questions

From how many vehicles is it a fleet?

We apply the fleet process from five vehicles upwards. Below that, the standard trade process is usually faster.

Can you collect vehicles across several sites?

Yes, including across countries. The collection schedule is then built site by site.

What happens to vehicle livery?

We can have it removed before resale, or you can leave it in place to avoid that cost. The choice is reflected in the pricing.

Do you provide a certificate of destruction if a vehicle is beyond resale?

Yes. An end-of-life vehicle goes to an authorised treatment facility and the certificate of destruction is sent to you.
